Preobrazheniya Gospodnya church of Kizhi

I guess, you saw these wooden heads on photos...

This is a wonder of wooden architecture. This church is made without any nail or iron. But the only iron thing is lightning conductor - when I saw it first time, I thought that monks watch TV with this antenna.

The matter is this church burned to ashes about a hundred years ago. They thought it was wreath of God. But now they blame lightning.
